Helpful Resources - Parent Information
How to Wash Your Equipment:
- Shoulder pad, arm pads and gloves can go in a warm wash with mild detergent
- You can place shoulder pads and arm pads in the dryer or air dry
- Gloves should be air-dried. Gloves should never be put in the dryer. Especially if the gloves are leather
- Helmets and chin strap should be wiped down occasionally with Lysol
- The equipment bag should be either washed in the washing machine, sprayed with Lysol, or left to air dry outside in the sun
Mandatory Equipment for Boys
- Helmet
- Shoulder Pads
- Arm Pads
- Gloves
- Stick (40-42 inches in length) (Pre K-K shortened sticks are acceptable)
- Cleats (no metal cleats)
- Mouthpiece (one that attaches to the helmet)
Mandatory Equipment for Girls
- Goggles
- Gloves
- Stick (Please make sure you buy/rent a girls lacrosse stick)
- Mouthpiece
Sticks
The total stick length for a short stick must be 40-42 inches for both boys and girls. This is measured from the top of the head to the butt end of the stick.
